Carlos Alcaraz said on Saturday in Toronto that he understands the need to improve each aspect of his game. He is scheduled to compete in the Canadian Open there on Wednesday.

Even though Alcaraz, who is only 20 years old, is now the best player in the world and just won the title by defeating Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final on July 16, his desire to get better is limitless.

While talking to an interview, Alcaraz stated: “The truth is that right now no, I’m not focused on one [facet] especially, but I am clear that I have to improve everything. You can always be better, you can always improve, so right now I’m trying to improve everything a little bit.”

He further added: “Little by little, in each training session, in each set that I’m doing in training, in each match, I’m trying to do better the things that I haven’t been doing well and from there, to improve.”
