Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa, also known as “Tsitsidosa,” have emerged as a new power couple in tennis, and Gael Monfils is just as happy about it.
A tennis couple with a combined social media presence is nothing new to Monfils. Monfils is a member of GEMS — (G)ael along with Elina Svitolina, with whom he shares a daughter named Skai.(E)lina.M(onfils).S(vitolina), which shot to fame during their relationship.
The relationship between Badosa and Tsitsipas was made public early this year, and since then, their frequent updates on social media have charmed tennis fans.
The Frenchman continued by wishing the Spanish-Greek couple all the best for the future and remarked that it was “nice” to see couples playing tennis having fun and being happy together.
He added these remarks: ” Yeah, and it’s nice to see that it can happen. I always wish all the couples the best. It’s something tough to describe because it’s very personal. But I hope every couple in tennis can enjoy themselves and be happy together.”

Ranked world no.5, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 5th of August when he defeated world no.19 Alex De Minaur 6-3 6-4 in the final in Los Cabos to win his 9th career title.
This year Stefanos owns an overall 39-13 record. This year, Stefanos conquered 1 title in Los Cabos. Tsitsipas was the finalist at the Australian Open and Barcelona.
Tsitsipas will play next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
Paula Badosa in 2023
LWWWLWWLWW Ranked world no.33, Badosa played her last match on the 7th of July when she had to retire when playing against world no.34 Marta Kostyuk in the 2nd round and the scoreline was 6-2 1-0 .
This year Paula owns a composed 18-9 win-loss record. Paula Badosa’s most significant achievement of the present season was getting to the semifinal in Adelaide.
She is also scheduled to play at the U.S. Open (U.S. Open) after Montreal. The main draw will start on the 7th of August.
