Coco Gauff is often criticised for her forehand, some say its her nails but she disagrees

Coco Gauff is being criticised over her forehand and some say its her long nails but she denies all these rumors and hopes to improve her forehand.

Coco Gauff Is Criticised Over Her Forehand

Coco Gauff’s forehand has drawn a lot of criticism which many see as her major flaw.

Gauff has some weaknesses in her game, much like almost any tennis player, including those on the WTA Tour. Gauff first had issues with her serve earlier in her career, but these days it’s largely the forehand. There aren’t many players who can say the same.

In the quarterfinal encounter at Roland Garros, she will play Iga Swiatek, and she will need to win with her forehand. According to well-known coach Rick Macci, it’s one of the last things needed to fully realize her potential. Her future as a grand slam champion is predicted by her coach, which makes sense given that she lost to Swiatek in the final last year.

Coco Gauff clears the rumors about her long nails being the cause behind her weak forehand: “I know a lot of people think I need to cut my nails to help me win a forehand better. I did try the short nails, & it did not make my forehand better. These are here to stay. I need to move my feet. That’s what I need to do.”
