Federer doesn’t care if he plays in Rome

Roger Federer is a happy man after winning the title in Istanbul and he doesn’t care if he plays in Rome or not… at least for the moment.

Why Not?

Roger is not confirmed for the ATP1000 in Rome (a place where he has never shined). Apparently the Maestro wants to see how it will go in Madrid and then he will decide. Most likely Roger will play in Rome if he crashes out early in Madrid so as to do more fine tuning for the Roland Garros.

Federer: I do not care

When asked about the chances about playing in Rome, Roger replied “Will play in Rome? I do not know, really. Not that I care at this moment or in the next few hours.

I would like to enjoy my success in Istanbul in which the next few hours I will not care about my next tournaments. I will briefly return to Switzerland, and then fly to Madrid. It depends on how things go and from there I will decide on Rome”

Rome and Monte-Carlo are the only ATP1000 that Roger hasn’t managed to win. Federer has won Madrid in 3 occasions (2006, 2009 and 2012).

WHO CARES IF I HAVE THIS?
