With 31 weeks at the top of the rankings, if Carlitos keeps his lead for another year, he will overtake Nastase, Murray, Kuerten, Courier, Edberg, and Hewitt. That’s not bad.

Now the world no.1, the Spaniard played his last match on the 16^th of July when he beat world no.2 Novak Djokovic 1-6 7-6(6) 6-1 3-6 6-4 in the final in Wimbledon to win his 12^th career title.

At the moment, during this season Carlos has a compiled 47-4 record. Alcaraz conquered 6 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona, Madrid, London and Wimbledon. Alcaraz got to the final in Rio de Janeiro.

in the final in Wimbledon (draw).
