Bianca Andreescu stands up for Emma Raducanu in tough times

Bianca Andreescu steps ups for Emma Raducanu due to the similarities between the two on career hardships and injury concerns.

Bianca Stands Up For Raducanu

Emma Raducanu has received support from Bianca Andreescu and is aware of the challenges of popularity. Andreescu made a remarkable debut in tennis in 2019 by winning the US Open and two WTA 1000 titles just after turning 19.

Andreescu was expected to do great things in the future, but after suffering injuries, the tremendous pressure and expectations started to have a bad impact on her career. Andreescu certainly can relate to Raducanu, who hasn’t won a championship due to her injuries and turned into one of the most criticized athletes in tennis.

Andreescu said on a podcast: “Us tennis players at the beginning, we just play the sport because we love it. We don’t necessarily want to become famous. Then you find out it’s all a part of it. It really sucks your energy. We’re all human at the end of the day. But I would honestly really, really like to speak to her because of that, because of our similarities. Maybe we can help each other out.”

Since enduring three surgeries in May, Raducanu has been absent. Raducanu’s recovery seemed to be doing well as she returned to the practice court this week.
