The Bryans winning the Miami Open

The Bryan Brothers are back and in style. The Americans won their 6th Miami Open title after they defeated Stefanos Tsitspas and Wesley Koolhof in the final 7-5 7-6 (6).

This was an emotional win for them especially after Bob was sidelined for long after his hip surgery.  In the meantime, Mike teamed up with Jack Sock, but it was very special for him having his brother back.

Why Mike was so happy

After the match, Mike commented

“Bob’s been through a lot on the couch. To have him back at full strength and winning here in Miami, [our] hometown, with all the friends and family support is unreal. This is a special event for us and to defend it is amazing.”

Talking about his last months, Bobo added

“A doctor was cutting me open eight months ago, and I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make it back on court. To win this title is a dream and certainly wasn’t possible eight months ago. This is huge for us.”

This is their 118th title, and at 40 years of age, they have no intention of slowing down.
