Coco Gauff was featured on the cover of recent issues of Marvel’s Invincible Iron Man comics. The issue, which has Gauff dressed in an Iron Man suit from the future, is the outcome of a partnership between Marvel and the American tennis phenomenon to honor the variety and accomplishments of female athletes.

Gauff, who is No. 4 in the world right now, has caused an uproar in the tennis community ever since she defeated Venus Williams at Wimbledon in 2019.

On Wednesday, August 2, Gauff posted on her Twitter account about her partnership with Marvel.

After this collaboration, Gauff posted on her Instagram account: “Does this mean I am cannon to the marvel universe now? So excited to announce I ‘m on the cover of a Marvel comic with Ironheart @Marvel @MarvelStudios.”
