Stefanos Tsitsipas Parts Ways With His Father

The brilliant Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has recently struggled with his form, which has worried his supporters.

Tsitsipas made a crucial change in his coaching staff ahead of the US Open after a disappointing performance at Wimbledon, where he was defeated in the round of 16.

Tsitsipas recently made the choice to end with his father, who served as both his coach and mentor. Instead, he chose to work with veteran tennis great Mark Philippoussis in an effort to get back in shape and revive his career.

He continued by explaining the reasons why he did not enjoy being separated from his father. Tsitsipas said about parting ways with his father: The more I grow older, it’s more challenging to me to train with my dad, but he’s the right person for me. We’ve different point of views, but he gives me different perspectives. It’s stressful at times.”

He sincerely admitted that their different viewpoints usually resulted in challenging situations. Tsitsipas decided to seek advice from a third party in order to advance in his professional career because he needed a new viewpoint.
