Sebastian Korda’s sister Nelly Korda has claimed a top spot after winning Evian Championship last Monday.
Even though Nelly Korda was ineligible to win the Evian Championship on Sunday, her tied ninth-place finish on Monday allowed her to reclaim the top spot in the global rankings.
Nelly who is 25-year-old has previously held the top rank several times. This time, she has surpassed the Korean Jin Young Ko, who is currently still in first place after 163 weeks overall.

At the moment ranked no.26, Sebastian played his last match on the 1st of August when he lost to world no.93 Alexander Shevchenko 5-7 7-6(4) 6-4 in the 2nd round in Washington (draw).
