Bad news for the tennis fans in Houston since Nick Kyrgios confirms that he will not be able to play the upcoming ATP250 because he is injured.
What is Kyrgios’ injury?
It’s Nick to explain why he can’t compete in Texas with a post on Social Media saying
“I am really disappointed to have to pull out of Houston this year. I loved playing the event last year and was looking forward to returning but unfortunately my knee has other ideas, I need to rest up, get treatment and make sure I can actually play on the European clay this year after I missed the whole swing in 2018.
I know the Houston ATP 250 will be great again this year and I plan on returning in 2020.”
The tournament will commence the 8th of April and the defending champion is Steve Johnson. Last year in Houston, Kyrgios lost in the quarters to Ivo Karlovic.
