At 37 years of age, Roger Federer is very much one of the best players on tour.

The Swiss sensation is currently in the Miami Open semifinal where he is going to face one of the most entertaining players of the new generation: Denis Shapovalov

It’s a joy watching Shapovalov, Auger Aliassime and the other. FEDERER

During the on-count interview with the ESPN soon after his win against Kevin Anderson, Roger commented

“They’ll carry the sport when we’re long gone, and we’ll be sitting on the couch watching those guys slug it out. They’ll be a joy to watch because not only are they great, great players, but they’re good people, too,”

I love to see that about them. This year and especially last year as well, they really started to break through and won some big events and started to beat the top guys, too.

I think it’s going to be a really, really interesting year, and here in Miami, we see two of the most talented guys out there on the Tour right now [Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger Aliassime]

Roger will have the opportunity to test Denis Shapovalov for the first time in a competition so there is no head to head record between themselves.
