Ranked no.25 (career-high), the Kazakhstani played his last match on the 9th of July when he surrendered to world no.7 Andrey Rublev 7-5 6-3 6-7(6) 6-7(5) 6-4 in the 4th round in Wimbledon (draw).
Currently, during this year Bublik has managed to achieve a compiled 20-22 win-loss record. Bublik has won 1 title in Halle.
Bublik will compete next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
