Nick Kyrgios is still not fit to compete, and he will not play in Toronto, just like Novak Djokovic.
Nick underwent a knee operation early this year, and soon after, he struggled with his wrist to skip the entire grass court season. It is still not clear if he will be ready to compete in Cincinnati and at the upcoming US Open.

Nick Kyrgios in 2023
Now ranked no.35, Nick played his last match on the 13th of June when he lost to world no.90 Yibing Wu 7-5 6-3 in the 1st round in Stuttgart (draw).

Kyrgios will play next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will start to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
Novak Djokovic in 2023
WLWWWWWWWW Now the world no.2, Novak played his last match on the 16th of July when he lost to world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz 1-6 7-6(6) 6-1 3-6 6-4 in the final in Wimbledon (draw).
This season the Serbian achieved a compiled 33-5 record. Djokovic clinched 3 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open and French Open. Djokovic got to the final in Wimbledon.
Djokovic is scheduled to compete next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
