Rafael Nadal was recently photographed having a good time on vacation with his family, which included his son and wife Maria Francisca Perello.
The Spaniard hasn’t played since 2023, when he dropped out from the Australian Open, due to an injury. Nadal’s strained left hip flexor had arthroscopic surgery in June.
At least Nadal was able to spend time with his wife and small kid during the downtime. Nadal won’t be participating in the ATP Tour this year. He does plan on making one final run in 2024, though.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion Nadal decided to get this issue surgically treated in June after experiencing numerous setbacks in his effort to recover from a psoas muscle injury he suffered in January.

At the moment ranked no.139, Rafael played his last match on the 18th of January when he was defeated by world no.60 Mackenzie Mcdonald 6-4 6-4 7-5 in the 2nd round of the Australian Open (draw).
At present, during this year Rafael owns a 1-3 win-loss record.
