According to Toni Nadal, Rafael Nadal is doing better mentally and is determined to return to the court in 2024.
Following multiple setbacks in his recovery from a psoas muscle injury that he sustained in January, 22-time Grand Slam winner Nadal made the decision to have the condition surgically fixed in June.
Currently, Nadal is on vacation with family. Toni Nadal said through Relevo: “Rafa is fine, on vacation, wanting to jump onto the court in 2024. Let’s hope that (Carlos) Alcaraz will let us win something then. He is excited to return and retire on the court.”
The 2024 season may not be the end of Toni Nadal’s playing career, Toni Nadal mentions. Former top player Juan Monaco said he doesn’t think Rafael Nadal would retire in 2024 if he gets healthy again and starts winning tournaments.
