Noma Akugue Noha started her week in Hamburg, Germany, under the radar, accessing the main draw thanks to a wild card granted by the organization. However, the German player honored that wild card in the best possible way by reaching her maiden final. She was visibly emotional during the on-court interview and commented, “I cannot believe… I’m so happy; I’m speechless. Thank you to everyone who came to support me today. That’s my first final.”
