In a touching and surprising video, Roger Federer recently wished Pavlos Tsitsipas, Stefanos Tsitsipas’ brother, a happy birthday.
Since quitting his career in 2022, Federer has made quite a few public and online appearances. But when a video of him wishing the birthday of Stefanos Tsitsipas’ 17-year-old brother surfaced, many got surprised.
Pavlos Tsitsipas mentioned since he turned 18 on July 23, he would now be eligible to drink legally in much of the world.
Federer greeted happy birthday to Tsitsipas’ brother in a video by saying: “Hey Pavlos, happy birthday! Finally, you can party, drive, and drink, I guess. So, have a great birthday party, say hi to Stefanos, and take care. All the best to you, bye-bye Pavlos“.
Pavlos Tsitsipas once mentioned that Roger Federer is a source of inspiration for him. After a match at Bamberg, he stated: “Yeah, he (Stefanos Tsitsipas) is my biggest role model, I would say. My brother, of course, and yeah, he is a huge inspiration to me, and I mean also Roger Federer.”

5, Stefanos played his last match on the 10th of July when he lost to world no.32 Christopher Eubanks 3-6 7-6(4) 3-6 6-4 6-4 in the 4th round in Wimbledon (draw).This season Tsitsipas has managed to achieve an overall 35-13 win-loss record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s best result of this year was getting to the final at the Australian Open and Barcelona.
Tsitsipas is scheduled to compete next in Los Cabos (Abierto de Tenis Mifel). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 31st of July.
