Murray happy for Odensik’s record ban for doping

Wayne Odensik’s career has been destroyed by…
himself.

The American has already received a 2 years’ ban in 2010 for possessing human growth hormone. Now Odensik tested positive for several banned substances during the off season (December
and January).

Now 29, Odensik received a 15 years ban and
he obviously announced his retirement from tennis. The American achieved a world no.77 career
high and his best result was reaching the 2009 final of the US Men’s Clay Court
Championship in Houston.

Murray: It is good for everyone

Andy wasn’t soft in his
comments “It is good for tennis that they got him off tour. It is the end
of his career and he can’t even come on site to events or coach. That is a good
thing. He is a cheat and it is good for everyone in tennis he is dealt with in
the right way.”


Roddick added “I hate
that he has a US flag next to his name when he’s cheating. Good riddance.”
