The 2023 Hopman Cup, which was revived in Nice, France, saw Croatia take on the Swiss team of Celine Naef and Leandro Riedl.
Although they were among the players involved earlier in the week, Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune were unable to grab the Hopman Cup title.
In the final, Vekic won her opening match against Naef 6-3, 6-4, while Coric won his last match against Riedl 6-1, 6-4 to win the championship.
Despite Belinda Bencic’s withdrawal, the youthful Swiss pair made it to the final but ran out of gas in Nice, making them one of the most successful teams in the competition. They have won four titles, including the 2019 crown.
