Andrey Rublev was absolutely elated after he won the title in Bastad following his victorious final against seed No. 1 Casper Ruud. The Russian player is well known for his funny and entertaining personality, and he did not disappoint during the final ceremony in Sweden. As soon as he received the champagne, he started to spray everyone: the cameraman, the ballboys, the tournament director, and even Casper.

At the moment ranked no.7, Rublev played his last match on the 23rd of July when he beat world no.4 Casper Ruud 7-6(3) 6-0 in the final in Bastad to win his 13th career title.
Currently, during this year the Russian has managed to achieve a composed 39-14 win-loss record. Rublev conquered 2 titles in 2023 in Monte-Carlo and Bastad. Rublev got to the final in Dubai, Banja Luka and Halle.
