During an interview with Tennis Channel, Amanda didn’t hide her confidence to comment
“I feel super confident and strong. I can play anyone. That’s now how I feel.”
Amanda was leading Petkovic 5-1 in the second set, but she failed to serve out the match when she was leading 5-2. She commented
“Definitely I was having some trouble closing it out, but I mean she was playing really well and you know you can always give credit for that. She is a great player. It was nerve-wracking at the end, but I was just keeping the ball in the court.”

Amanda will face the world no.19 Anett Kontaveit in the 2nd round. There is no head to head record between them as they have never played each other so far. You can bet she will not be scared about that.
