Emma Raducanu is satisfied with her recovery. Will she play in the upcoming U.S. Open?

Raducanu, a former world No. 10, has been absent from the courts since losing to Jelena Ostapenko in the Stuttgart Open.

Emma Raducanu

Since April of this year, when she competed in the Stuttgart Open on clay and lost to former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko in the first round by a score of 2-6, 1-6, the former world No. 10 has been absent from the courts. Before perhaps returning to the US Open, Raducanu took some time off in Greece with a rumored boyfriend.

Due to physical issues, Raducanu was only able to compete in five events this year and made the decision to have surgery on both wrists and one ankle in May. Although Raducanu has lately been spotted with bandages on her hands, there was some question around her return to the WTA tour and her impending return to play.

Emma gave a nice update to her friends with an optimistic message on Twitter as follows. Will she be back for the US Open?
