Richard Williams has never played any tennis, and he didn’t know anything about the sport. Nevertheless, the American managed to “create” 2 tennis legends when facing hardship, his daughters: Serena and Venus Williams.
According to reports, Will Smith is in the final talks to play Richard even if critics say that he is “too light-skinned.”
The interesting part of the movie is that it will be centered not on the fantastic achievements of Serena and Venus Williams, but on what her father had to do to bring them to the very pinnacle of tennis.
This will be not the first time that the 50-year-old played in a sporting biopic after he impersonated the great Muhammad Ali.
If everything goes well, this will be a movie not to be missed.
