Novak Djokovic lost a tough Wimbledon final against Carlos Alcaraz. It seems more and more obvious that both tennis players are going to dominate the ATP tour in the months to come. Novak Djokovic will be more than eager to take his revenge on the young Spanish players. However, according to a recent interview, it seems that that will not happen at the ATP 1000 tournament that will be played in Toronto in August. Novak revealed that he would like to play only one main event before the US Open, and he said that he will be more than happy to compete in Cincinnati. The Serbian legend is still on the entry list in Canada, but he may very well pull out before the draw.

“The plan is to play a tournament before going to the US Open 2023 and for that event to be the one in Cincinnati,” Bovak disclosed.
