Carlos Alcaraz has just won his first Wimbledon title, and he definitely wants to go for more with his ambitions. In a recent interview, the new Spanish sensation revealed that he is looking forward to playing singles and doubles at the upcoming Olympic Games, which will be staged in Paris next year. Carlitos said that he would like to play doubles with his childhood hero, Rafael Nadal.
Talking about this opportunity, Carlitos commented, “It would be a dream. Not only to win a medal at singles or doubles, but just to live the experience of playing doubles with your idol would be a memory that I would keep with special affection.”

LWLLWLWWWW Now the world no.1, the Spaniard played his last match on the 16th of July when he defeated world no.2 Novak Djokovic 1-6 7-6(6) 6-1 3-6 6-4 in the final in Wimbledon to win his 12th career title.
At present, during this year Alcaraz has managed to achieve an overall 47-4 win-loss record. The Spaniard has won 6 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona, Madrid, London and Wimbledon. Alcaraz reached the final in Rio de Janeiro.
Alcaraz is scheduled to play next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
Rafael Nadal in 2023
Ranked world no.140, Rafael played his last match on the 18th of January when he lost to world no.59 Mackenzie Mcdonald 6-4 6-4 7-5 in the 2nd round of the Australian Open (draw).
This year Nadal has a compiled 1-3 record.
