Roger Federer is already training at the Miami Open

Roger Federer is as hungry as ever.

The Swiss sensation has just ended his tournament in Indian Wells where he lost in the final to Dominic Thiem, and he is eager to have another deep run in Miami.

During the press conference following his defeat in the desert, the world no.5 confirmed that he is pretty happy about his current situation especially after he won his 100th title in Dubai. In addition, Roger stated that he is delighted with his physical condition and he is ready for more.

Roger didn’t want to waste any time and just 1 day after his Indian Wells final he is already practicing in the brand new Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Federer received a rather favorable draw in this Miami Open (see article), and he might face Stan Wawrinka again in the 3rd round strong of his overall 22-3 head to head record against his friend and compatriot.

Federer won the Miami Open on 3 occasions in 2005, 2006, and 2017. He was the runner up in 2002.
