Easy life in Indian Wells opener for both Djokovic
and
Murray.

Djokovic

The world no.1 had a solid win against Marcos
Baghdatis in just 59 minutes. The Serbian broke Marcos 4 times without conceding
a single break to finally win 6-1 6-3.

Djokovic was obviously satisfied with his
performance to comment “Great performance against a quality opponent,
against somebody that was a former Top 10 player and that knows how to play on
a big stage. No complaints. Everything was working well from the beginning to
the end.”

Nole will play next against
Albert
Ramos
. This will be the first time they play each other.

Murray

Andy defeated Vasek
Pospisil
also 6-1 6-3 in just 79 minutes. The Scott had no problems in the
entire match with the exception of the first game of the second set when he
lost his serve. No problems for Andy that broke back Pospisil in the very next
game to break him again later (5-3).

Match
Stats.

Andy commented “It was a good start. He
didn’t serve particularly well. But even still, returning second serves, it was
not easy. I thought I played quite a smart match, played solid. I didn’t go for
too much, but I also felt like when we were in the rallies, I was dictating
them, keeping him pinned in his backhand corner, and pushing him further and
further away from the baseline.”

Andy will play
Kohlschreiber
for a place in the 4th round.
Head
to head is 1-all.
