Naomi Osaka is ready to go back in business in Miami where she is seeded no.1.
However, Naomi didn’t get a fantastic draw. Like all the other seeds she will commence her run from the second round, but she might have some problems pretty early in the tournament.
Even if she will play against a qualifier in her opening match, she might face Su-Wei Hsieh in the 3rd round that is an opponent that she doesn’t like to play. Naomi beat her in the 3rd round in Melbourne in 3 sets when she was really close to defeating.

In the 4th round, Osaka will probably face either the 2-time slam champion Garbine Muguruza or the former world no.1 Caroline Wozniacki.
Things may get very complicated in the quarters where she may play either Aryna Sabalenka or Angelique Kerber. However, in that part of the draw, there is also the rising star Bianca Andreescu that has just won the title in Indian Wells.
In the semifinal, Naomi may face Petra Kvitova in what could be a shoot-out for the world no.1 rank.
In the final, she may play against one of these players: Simona Halep, Karolina Pliskova, Elina Svitolina, or Serena Williams.
