Carlos Alcaraz had a rather busy day on Sunday after he won the Wimbledon title. Following his triumph at SW 19, the Spanish sensation had to go through a lot of media obligations. Something extremely funny happened when Carlitos was on CNN live. When he was asked to show his Wimbledon trophy ( which should be the replica), he dropped it. Of course, everything ended with a laugh.

Now ranked no.1, Carlos played his last match on the 16th of July when he defeated world no.2 Novak Djokovic 1-6 7-6(6) 6-1 3-6 6-4 in the final in Wimbledon to win his 12th career title.
This season Alcaraz has a composed 47-4 match record. Alcaraz clinched 6 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona, Madrid, London and Wimbledon. The Spaniard reached the final in Rio de Janeiro.
Alcaraz has scheduled to play next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
