The Dane had an easy week till the final not to concede more than 5 games per match. Eventually Caroline had to face a tough test in the final to beat world no.94 Alexandra Dulgheru in 3 sets. The drama lasted just 1 set for Caroline that after losing the opener he had an easy life in the following 2 sets to finally win 4-6 6-2 6-1. Match Stats.

Wozniacki commented “I think she played well the whole match. She tried to play aggressive and take the ball early. But I knew she had a tough match yesterday, so I just kept playing my game and kept trying to put pressure on her. I think I stepped it up in the second and third sets, and it paid off.”
Now the world no.5 will head to Indian Wells to try to get some more glory.
