Belinda Bencic is getting better and better!

The Swiss reached the semifinal in Indian Wells after beating Karolina Pliskova in straight sets following an extremely tough battle.

The match

Belinda had a firing start to immediately break Karolina Pliskova in the 3rd game (2-1) before breaking her gain at the end of the set and win 6-3.

However, the Czech took full advantage of her experience, and she was committing to a start strong in the second set. Karolina grabbed a fierce 4-0 lead and even if she was broken in the 6th game, she won the set 6-4.

Everything went down to the decider, and you couldn’t split the 2 players until they were locked on a 3-3 scoreline. That was the moment when Belinda managed to have to last sprint to win the last 3 games after winning the crucial break in the 7th game (4-3).

The final score was 6-3 4-6 6-3, and the match ended after 2 hours and 16 minutes.
