The Bryans brother had a great performance in Glasgow to beat Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-7 (8), 9-7.
The Bryans have never lost in their career after been 2 sets up and this time they were a bit close. In fact, after winning the first 2 sets they had to bow in the 3rd and the 4th to win the decider just at the very end.
Mike commented “We’d lost a couple of heartbreakers and we said to each other, ‘Let’s erase that pain.'”
Team USA is now 1-2 down against Great Britain and the next 2 matches are Isner vs. Murray and Young vs. Ward.
Murray & C. are still the overwhelming favorites, but team USA is not dead… yet.
