Holger Rune lost the Wimbledon quarterfinal against Carlos Alcaraz on Wednesday. It was pretty clear by the end of the match that the Danish player was struggling from a physical point of view. After the encounter, Holger confirmed that he didn’t feel very well in the morning, but that is something that may happen.

Holger revealed: “I didn’t feel the best in today’s match, but I did my best not to disappoint the crowd. I tried to fight until the end. Didn’t feel as I feel the other days when I woke up this morning.”

Unfortunately, even if it was clear that Holger was struggling, some tennis fans on Twitter did not like his statement.

Here are some reactions.
