Carlos Alcaraz About His Father Recording Djokovic's Training

During the last few days, a new controversy emerged at Wimbledon. According to reports, Carlos Alcaraz’s father was seen recording a training session with Novak Djokovic, who said that he would like to have more privacy. Obviously, social media erupted about this allegation, especially Novak Djokovic’s fans. In the press conference that followed the successful match that Carlos Alcaraz won against Holger Rune, a reporter asked  Carlos to comment on these allegations.

He replied:  “Oh, probably it is true. My father is a huge fan of tennis. He doesn’t only watch my matches. I think he gets into the club at 11 a.m., gets out at 10 p.m., watching matches, watching practice from everyone. Being able to watch Djokovic in real life, yeah, probably it is true he’s filmed the sessions.”

Soon after, Carlitos said that he doesn’t really think that filming Novak Djokovic’s sessions we’ll give him a competitive advantage.
