Mirra Andreeva had a fantastic run at Wimbledon, where she reached the 4th round. Things looked great also against Madison Keys, who was comfortably leading 6-3, 4-1, before imploding and losing 3-6, 7-6(4), 6-2. Unfortunately, Mirra ceded to nerves, and she threw her racket multiple times. The sanctions for Andreeva’s unsportsmanlike behavior were made public after she left Wimbledon on Monday afternoon.
