Holger Rune Talks About Carlos Alcaraz

Holger Rune will face Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon quarterfinals in what will be one of the most interesting rivalries in the next few years. Both players are 20 years old, extremely talented, and hungry for success. During the press conference that followed his match against Grigor Dimitrov, Holger Runa was asked to comment about his fast progress. Hoger said that while he is very happy with how things are going, he also stresses that Carlos Alcaraz is doing even better than him.

Hoger commented: “I’m really, really eager to improve. To be honest, it doesn’t feel like I’m going really fast.

But also, you see Alcaraz, he’s doing even better than me.

It’s in a different way. I feel like I’m pushing every day. Of course, I admire the good results I make, but I have really high ambitions.”
