Ana Ivanovic had no problems at all in reaching the quarters in Monterrey. The seed no.1 defeated world no.103 Pauline Parmentier 6-3 6-2.
Ana was very happy with her performance to comment “It was a very good match. It was a little late, but I’m happy to win. It was different conditions than yesterday too – it was a little bit slower out there, and a little bit heavier. But I was happy to get the victory and get through to the quarterfinals in Monterrey again.”

Ana will play Kristina Mladenovic in the quarters. This will be the first time they play each other.
