Kasatkina criticizes Kyrgios on Saudi Arabia: “For me money is not a priority”

Why Daria Kasatkina doesn;t agree with Nick Kyrgios' position on Saudi Arabia

Daria Kasatkina And Nick Kyrgios Do Not Agree About Saudi Arabia

In reaction to rumors that Saudi Arabia was interested in purchasing interests in the sport, Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina said that money is not her number one goal.

Media rumors have stated that the Middle Eastern nation is interested in purchasing shares in tennis, similar to what they have done with golf. The action appears to be in accordance with Saudi Arabia’s recent policy, which includes a desire to spend substantially on all sports and use those investments to promote their image.

Australian Nick Kyrgios has been outspoken about the situation and has repeatedly said that he would be pleased to get hefty compensation with the following tweet.

Kasatkina said: “[There are] many issues concerning this country [Saudi Arabia]. It’s easier for men because they feel pretty good there. We don’t feel the same way. As Nick Kyrgios said, he’d be so happy to go there for a big check.’ For me, money is not my number one priority.”
