Eugenie Bouchard lost to Kirsten Flipkens in the first round of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells. Flipkens clinched the last two games in the last set to win 7-5 3-6 7-5. The three-set battle lasted two and a half hours.

Tennis fans are getting used to seeing Canadian Bouchard in brief appearances. Lately, her game has picked up, and the player/swimsuit model has lasted a little longer in tournaments. However, followers might get a chance to see a Eugenie Bouchard movie that might struggle to fill even two hours.

Two years ago in Super Bowl LI, the New England Patriots were losing 28-3 to the Atlanta Falcons. John Goehrke, Patriot fan, asked Eugenie Bouchard if she would go on a date with him if New England came back and won. Thinking it was a long shot, she agreed, and of course, Tom Brady pulled out a win. The pair went on a date.

Bouchard and Goehrke took in a Brooklyn Nets game, and that date was even followed up with Goehrke traveling to Bouchard’s house, and the pair visited Miami Beach. The two got together again to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the bet by going to Super Bowl LII in Minnesota.

It has never been confirmed or denied if a romantic relationship developed although Bouchard has recently tweeted that she is single. She will serve as executive producer of the romantic comedy will sound like it’s about an hour and a half short of material.

This looks like a good move. Eugenie Bouchard is a tennis hottie and showed promise with a 2014 Wimbledon final showing, but since then it’s been a string of losses and a lawsuit against the USTA. She settled in the lawsuit involving an injury at the US Open, but the losses have continued.

Fans of Bouchard can keep their fingers crossed on the movie being made and in the meantime, keep eyes peeled for her often-brief runs in tennis tournaments and frequent swimsuit modeling shoots.

One thing seems sure, Eugenie Bouchard is guaranteed exposure, one way or another.
