Dimitrov falls in Acapulco to world no.169

Grigor Dimitrov is having a rather disappointing 2015 so far. The Bulgarian was expected to have his breakout year, but eventually he hasn’t achieved much. The world no.10 had to face another low moment in Acapulco where he was defending his title to lose against world no. 169 Ryan Harrison. The final score was a horrible 7-5 4-6 6-0. Match Stats.

Grigor tried not to be too depressed after the match “It happens. It’s just the way it is. It’s a bad loss for me, but best of luck to Ryan in the upcoming rounds.”

The American was very happy for what was the best victory of his career “I feel good. I got into qualies as an alternate and obviously here we are now. It’s crazy how things work.
