Carlos Alcaraz had a fantastic start to his Wimbledon campaign on Tuesday when he dismissed the world no.542 Jeremy Chardy 6-0 6-2 7-5. Especially in the first two sets, the Spanish sensation played a tennis out of this world. Carlitos is widely considered the favorite to win the Wimbledon title after Novak Djokovic.

During the press conference that followed the encounter, when asked what his goal in Wimbledon would be, the world number one was extremely straightforward to say: “To win the tournament. That’s the main goal right now for me. I have a lot of confidence right now. The main goal for me this tournament is to win, to win it.”
