Katie delighted the local tennis fans when they noticed that she left the center court in order to support the British no.1 Katie Boulter on court 18. The match was suspended because of the rain when the British player was trailing 5-6 against Daria Saville.

Ranked no.89, the Brit played her last match on the 27th of June when she capitulated to world no.29 Petra Martic 6-4 7-5 in the 1st round in Eastbourne (draw).
Currently, during this year Katie has a compiled 27-12 record. Boulter conquered 2 titles in 2023 Canberra and Nottingham. The Brit reached the final in the W80 Gifu and the W60 Fukuoka.
