Stefanos Tsitsipas and his new girlfriend, Paula Badosa, have been dating for just a bit more than a month, but it seems that they are already inseparable. The new tennis power couple is not shy about posting all sorts of videos and pictures related to their relationship. During a recent interview, Stefanos Tsitsipas revealed how he managed to kickstart their romance. Everything started with a message during the tournament in Rome.

This is what he said in an interview with SDNA:

“For the last three years, I have loved her very much. I saw her for the first time at Australian 2020 on the TV from my apartment, and I remember her now very vividly. It’s not often that I see someone on TV and like their energy so much without ever having met them. With a few “hellos” over the last few years, I was given the opportunity to get to know her more and more.

It started in Rome with a message from me when she beat Ons Jabeur in the second round. I watched the match, and I really liked the way she played and handled the situation against a very good clay player like Ons, who plays very smart, uses drop shots, etc. I sent her congratulations, and the whole story started like that. The truth is, she was a big fan of mine before this, and I was too, for the way she plays, while I also liked her character and her personality. It was a common thing on both sides.”
