Nadal bullied umpire for time violations

Rafael Nadal is definitely one of the most exciting players in tennis history, but there is something that is really failing: the amount of time he spends in between services.

Interesting enough most of the umpires are scared to call these time violations, but one: Carlos Bernardes.

Carlos Bernardes, one of the most experienced umpires on tour, had the gut to call 2 time violations to Rafa in his semifinal against Fognini. Eventually Nadal lost his focus to drop his service (and that cost the set to Rafa).

After that, Rafa was absolutely on fire against Carlos Bernardes also because the umpire is used to call time violations to him (for a reason…!).

During the match Rafa said in Spanish (translated) “I will make sure that you don’t arbitrate me anymore. I have nothing personal against you, but you put me in a lot of pressure. It is not right. You have to see the video again.”

So… do we have a rule or what?

NOT A HAPPY GUY….
