Stefanos Tsitsipas has already reached 2 of his goals in 2019 after he got to the semifinal at the Australian Open and he broke in the top10. The Greek will try to achieve another goal in Indian Wells where he will chase his first ATP1000 title.
The Greek had a rather good draw in the desert that should help him to settle down before the big clashes he is expected to face later in the tournament.
Last year Stefanos crashed out in the 2nd round in Indian Wells at the hands of Dominic Thiem.
Why Tsitsipas had a good draw in Indian Wells
Stefanos was dealt in Kevin Anderson’s quarter, and a right elbow injury has sidelined the South African for more than a month, and therefore he is not expected to be at his very best. Also, Stefanos will not have to face any dangerous floater early in the tournament.
