Nick Kyrgios wants a coach

Nick Kyrgios surprised the tennis community after winning an amazing title in Acapulco after he beat the likes of Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka, John Isner, and Sascha Zverev in succession.

The Australian has impressed in the final against tennis having an “almost” normal state of mind with showing too much of his erratic behavior. The result was fantastic as he conceded to the German only 7 games after Nick broke him 3 times.

In the following press-conference, Nick commented

It’s an amazing feeling. I didn’t expect much at all today. I knew I was the underdog going in and that he’s playing great tennis. He’s an incredible player and doesn’t have many weaknesses, so I knew I had to play my style of tennis. I’m really happy with the performance.

I’m very lucky to be in this position. I need to way to be more disciplined, way better professionally and do the right things. I don’t even have a coach, so maybe I start there.

I was really down and out and didn’t know what I was going to do, but you have a week like this, and things can change. It’s hopefully an example for people who are struggling and getting in some places you don’t think you can get out of. If I can do it, you can do it.”

Was this a career-changing week?
