Garbine Muguruza and Caroline Wozniacki had a great day in Dubai

Ranked no.24, Garbine is poised to break in the top10 within the next couple of years. The Spaniard has reached th quarters in Dubai after beating world no.8 Agnieszka Radwanska with a comfortable 6-4 6-2. Garbine commented “I enjoyed it. Sometimes you don’t enjoy, but this time I did because I was playing really good. You know, I thought that if I continue playing like this eventually I would win the match so I am very happy.”
Muguruza will play her compatriot Carla Suarez-Navarro in the quarters. This will be the first time they play each other on tour.
Wozniacki
Caroline storms in the quarters after a convincing performance against world no. 19 Alize Cornet. 6-4 6-0. The match lasted 6 games (Cornet was leading 4-2 in the opener). After that Caro won the following 8 games.
Caro will play Flavia Pennetta in the quarters. Head to head is 6-1 for the former world no.1
