Roger Federer has just achieved another incredible milestone after he won his 100th title in Dubai.
The Swiss sensation his “only” 9 titles shy from Jimmy Connors that has won 109 single tournaments in his career and no one was better than him on the ATP Tour.
Even if Roger has always stated that that record is not important for him, it’s now clear that even if he will turn 38 at the this coming August, given his exceptional form and if the Swiss win some more titles this year he has a shot at catching the American.
The congratulations from Jimmy Connors
The American posted a Twitt congratulating Roger saying
“Welcome to the “ Triple Digit” tournament victory club @rogerfederer — I’ve been a bit lonely- glad to have the company !!!”
Roger will try to make him feel less lonely this year.
Game on!
