“DISASTER” – Andy Murray not happy with Wimbledon poster

Why Andy Murray was not happy with that poster

Andy Murray Not In Wimbledon Poster

The contentious Wimbledon poster, which was criticized for not including the British great, has been dubbed a “disaster” by Andy Murray. Before the tournament’s start next week, the image honoring several tennis greats was shared by the two-time Wimbledon champion.

The inclusion of young Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner and the absence of Murray as well as the placement of female celebrities drew immediate criticism from fans. Back in 2012, Andy was the first British man to win Wimbledon in 77 years.

According to the Independent, Murray wasn’t happy to say: “It was a disaster, wasn’t it? I don’t need to elaborate any more on it. It’s pretty obvious if you see the poster.”
